What a wonderful experience we had at this charming bed and breakfast for 4 nights in July of 2006! Warm, friendly, comfortable, and very, very helpful. I love the fact that I could e-mail the inn and receive an answer back within a few days. It was our first time in Austria and we were a bit nervous being in a new country. August and Christian and their family made us feel so welcome and cared-for. I hope we can return to Puch and most definitely stay at their special inn. The food for breakfast and dinner was delicious and very well prepared. My personal favorite was the farm-fresh brown eggs and the pfundl which is a chicken/mushroom dish with potato cakes on the side. Yum, yum! Christian is a marvelous cook. Thank you to the Rettenbacher family for making our stay so memorable. We highly recommend Hotel Gastof to everyone!
