La Rivolte was paradise! We wanted to spend our whole holiday just at the villa, although there was so much to see and do in the area. Beautiful views on to the Mediterranean, a stunning house and gardens with a lovely pool! A very warm welcome from Cathy & Jon, the hosts.

La Rivolte and the city of Grasse have a lot to offer. We experienced that playing golf -though not indicated as such on your website- is possible on at least 4 splendid courses less than 15 minutes drive from La Rivolte. In our opinion worthwhile mentioning. Fred & Els Hulsing Amstelveen Holland

I have stayed at La Rivolte in Autumn, and spring, the hospitality I received from the manager, was warm and welcoming. Staying in such a charming house was a privelige. The gardens are tranquil and very beautiful, with tremendous, panoramic views. A perfect jumping off spot for so many interesting and lovely places, I am eager to return for more of the same !!

Just a great place to stay! I have had the pleasure of renting La Rivolte with a party of friends for a week and also have returned twice as a B&B guest - both experiences were fantastic, a lovely comfortable and welcoming place in the most fabulous setting - loads of great places to visit nearby. Looking forward to going back again for a short break later this year. Cathy and Jon are everything you would hope for in mangers - friendly, welcoming and very knowlegable about the area.

From the moment of arrival everything is always perfect - stepping into the world of La Rivolte is to take yourself into an era of gracious living - Cathy and Jon are warm and welcoming. They are never intrusive but are always there when we need help and advice about the area and are brilliant at predicting the weather both in the mountains and on the coast! Their three cats, each with its own character, bring their own warm greeting to this magnificent mansion - it is not a cold lifeless building but a warm welcoming home. The stunning marble staircase leads to the light and airy bedrooms - each one different and all charming. (We have slept in all of them over the years!) To meander in the garden and experience all the various perfumes of the flowers and fruits of the lemon, orange and gnarled old olive trees is so relaxing. The lounges are stocked with a good variety of books and DVD's but to sit on the terrace with the uninterrupted views of Grasse, sipping a glass of the local wine is simply bliss. As you can see we cannot recommend La Rivolte highly enough - but not too highly or the next time we ring to reserve a room we shall be told that Cathy is fully booked!
