This is a charming place to stay in with fabulous views of the canal. It is very convenient for Frans Hals museum and all the city sights which are quick to get to by foot. Because it is so easy to get to Amsterdam, this is a good place to stay in. There are scores of large and small restaurants.

Having traveled Europe for the past five summers, I can not even begin to tell you how nice this B&B is! The photos on this web site do not even begin to do it justice. I just loved the owners collection of seashells and the breakfast was always on time and wonderful as well. If you are planning a trip to Amsterdam, I encourage you to stay in Haarlem and commute to Amsterdam, if desired. But, Haarlem has everything Amsterdam does, but with a small town feel. Having lived in Haarlem I can recommend the place as a very friendly, homely town in preference to the mad rush of Amsterdam. Staying at Inge's B&B only helped to make our trip special whilst meeting old friends. To have breakfast served outside the room and be able to eat in the privacy of the room is a really nice touch. Thanks Inge ! P.S Also recommend Koops Cafe on Damstraat just off the Grote Markt - great bar run by Rolf !

This is a great deal. I stayed for 4 days, never saw the innkeepers, but knew if I needed something, they were there. Like having your own place. Nice, large rooms; small price. Best deal in the Amsterdam area -- actually, if you're tired of the pace of Amsterdam, Haarlem is a step slower, true Dutch experience. Enjoy.
