INFORMATION ABOUT PEARCE |
The tiny town of Pearce is located in the southern region of Arizona, about 80 miles southeast of Tucson, and just north of the United States/Mexico border. Even though some consider Pearce a modern day ghost town, travelers will find a nice selection of country inns and bed and breakfasts and a variety of activities for every taste. Visitors will enjoy the adjoining Coronado National Forest, the Dragoon and Chiricahua Mountains & National Monument for hiking, biking and climbing, as well as abundant wildlife. Other area attractions include historic sites, including Butterfield Stage Station/ Dragoon Springs, Fort Bowie, Apache Pass, the towns of Bisbee and Tombstone and a number of Healthsprings and Spas.
