INFORMATION ABOUT CRESTED BUTTE

Crested Butte Colorado is located at the North end of the Gunnison Valley in Southwestern Colorado. It offers outstanding and diverse opportunities for outdoor activities. The winter is ideal for skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling and dog sledding. Summertime offers bed and breakfast travelers mountain biking and hiking, golf, rafting and kayaking, paragliding and rock climbing. Crested Butte is home to the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame and the ski resort of Mt. Crested Butte, just three miles North. Tourist attractions in the area include the Taylor Reservoir, Cottonwood Pass, Gunnison National Forest and the Blue Mesa Reservoir.
